Despite what other people might say in these review, Angie's Ascot Vale has some of the most friendly, thoughtful and professional staff- if you make an effort yourself to connect with them. They always make quality food which keeps me and many friends always returning. They show their appreciation by loading up the meals when they notice you coming in a lot and having a chat. And $18 for a Large (loaded) HSP is pretty decent when you get it from Angie's... Great value for the serving size and service speed. As well as this, Angie's is opened until late (2am Friday and Saturday) which makes it an absolute lifesaver on those big nights out. I would genuinely say that this place has the BEST HSP in Melbourne. I've been all around Melbourne trying to find a worthy competitor. The Angie's HSP is a must-try. Love you guys!! I showed up well after closing time, fully expecting to be turned away, but Angie himself greeted me with a smile and took my order without hesitation. That kind of kindness and dedication to customer service is almost unheard of these days. Now let’s talk about the kebabs: next-level delicious. Just visited for the first time tonight and without a doubt I will 100% be returning again in the very near future. I had just a classic mixed kebab and can easily say that it’s by far the best kebab I’ve ever tried, great ratio of meat to salad everything was fresh and you can tell that it was truly put together with care :) Great friendly and polite staff who do an amazing job in developing a positive relationship with customers and creating a welcoming environment for all :) PLEASE give this place a go as soon as you can, you will not regret it!!!!!! I recently visited this Kebab Shop and had a fantastic experience. The shop had a cozy atmosphere with clean tables and a welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain the menu options to me. I tried their chicken kebab with garlic sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, and the garlic sauce added the perfect kick. They also had a good variety of sides to choose from, like fries and salads. Always looks after their customer as a business should be doing. I have always been served fresh food and extra perks sometimes. Everytime I crave for my own country (Bangladesh) style Burgers, this is the place I go to. Not only Burgers, their kebabs are good too. Just a suggession, Please add option to remove chips and add on something else to avoid forced order on chips, may be have options to get a wing/ salad/ extra meat or something. Just writing this review because I want to thank Angies for their amazing job in providing lunch for Maidstone Covid 19 testing site. They provided fresh lunch for a team of doctors/nurses and traffic controllers for the past two months. They were very pleasant and professional and they created fresh yummy food. On behalf of myself (site supervisor) and my team we just want to thank them for their time and effort in supporting the front line workers. ~ Althea M

Reading other reviews I'm not sure if we came on a good day (weekday, lunch time), or if they've changed based on feedback but this was one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten! My husband and I both got mixed kebabs and the meat was so tasty and juicy, and there was so much packed in that it was falling out with eat bite. The chips were also perfectly cooked. I'll be dreaming of that kebab for ages. ~ Tiarna T

There are plenty of kebabs everywhere now a days this also has Very tasty kebabs with lot of options..very big menu, burgers also available..kids menu is available too..big sitting area and friendly staff.. Quick service though busy...coffee also available..good location.. I had spicy chicken with them it was nice.. ~ sathya k

This is our neighbourhood kebab shop where we quite often frequent. Food quality is consistently good, and service and friendliness is top notch. At one point we had a mess up in our order but after calling them to clarify they were highly apologetic and more than made amends for it. It's this type of service that keeps us coming back for more. ~ Foo E

This place is always lovely. Open late friendly service. The biggest problem I have is I always forget to remove the spicy Mayo. Bit for chicken it's quality and fresh. Even let me payid when I forgot card if that's not going above and beyond I don't know what is ~ Tom

Probably the best HSP I've had. Heaps of crunchy chips, heaps of meat, and heaps of sauce, with a great variety of add ons, all for an affordable price. Great for sharing, for summer or for a rainy movie night or afternoon. ~ tommie

Was on a late night chip search and Angie’s really showed up! These chippies are fresh, salty and not too thick. You get garlic sauce AND tomato sauce just like that. Really enjoyed the quirk of the quotes on the walls! Will be back 4 sure :))) ~ Caito Z
